Amit Chadha has been associated with the Hotel, Travel and Leisure
industry since childhood.
After finishing his schooling from one of the leading schools of the time ie. St.
Columbas School, New Delhi, he went on to his Apprenticeship in Food & Beverage with Indian Hotels Company Limited and worked at both the Taj Mahal Hotel and Taj Palace Hotel, New Delhi. This he did for 5 years from 1982 to 1986.

Wanting to
enhance his career, he went on and joined one of the leading travel company of the time
ie. Sita World Travel in which he was exposed to the Travel Industry. From meeting, greeting clients at airports & hotels (which he still takes pleasure in), he went on to chalk out
programs for them, work our travel costs, expose new destinations and contract rates with Hoteliers and Foreign Tour Operators. He always had new plans for tourists.
He was with SITA till 1996.

In 1996, the Department of Tourism honoured him by licensing him to be a Tour Guide. He now leads tourists from the front to not only the
hot spots of the country but given his aptitude has brought local Indian fairs, festivals, unexposed destinations and whatever he eyes upon touristically onto the world tourism map. Amongst the special assignments have been to work as a Tour Director for agents from USA and UK like Smartours - USA,
Thompson - UK, Kuoni Dorking - UK, Voyages Jules Verne - UK,
Semester-At-Sea - USA. His special interest is
however working for Charters, Incentives,
Cruises and FAM Trips.
Academically he is a Graduate from Delhi University and has pursued a number of courses to enhance his product knowledge like
Wildlife Tourism Management Course, A course on
Water Sports Tourism, a Workshop on Tour Leaders Conducted by M/s Thompson - UK, Spanish Language from Cultural wing of Spanish Embassy.
Presently he is wanting to complete his Masters in Religion and
Philosophy, a subject of great interest in the present world.
Last, but not the least, he has years of tourism in him.
